Is Biscoff vegan?
Products that contain honey, eggs and milk (see ingredient list) are not suitable for vegans. Biscoff original cookie and Biscoff spread are vegan. Some other products in the range (such as sandwich cookies with certain fillings or chocolate variants or ice cream) may contain dairy. Ice cream contains dairy. How should I store Biscoff cookies?
Keep them in their sealed packaging in a cool, dry place. Once opened, an airtight container keeps them perfectly crunchy until the end of shelf-life.
Do I need to refrigerate Biscoff spread?
No, store the jar in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration isn't necessary and will make the spread hard and difficult to spread.
Does Biscoff contain palm oil?
All Biscoff products contain palm oil. All palm oil that Lotus Bakeries buys directly for its own margarine factory is 100% RSPO segregated since 2014. This is the highest sustainability level in the RSPO certification and represents full traceability back to the plantation. All other sustainable palm oil (found in some margarines and ingredients we purchase externally) is RSPO segregated since the end of 2016. All our factories are RSPO certified to work with segregated and Mass Balance palm oil. http://www.rspo.org/members/826/lotus-bakeries-nv
